The interior of the LAKE PLAZA shopping center is a symbiosis of functionality and design. Creative ideas of designers put into the realization of "Kraft" suspended ceilings created a stylish and cozy space for visitors.

The rhythm of life in large cities imposes certain rules. Every day a person has to solve many daily problems with a minimum amount of time. Small shopping centers located in highly built-up areas help to cope with these tasks. They are often unremarkable buildings made of concrete and plastic. However, the owners of the LAKE PLAZA shopping center decided to go in a different direction, attaching great importance to the interior design. The main motif in the color design was the use of "nautical" colors, so that the LAKE PLAZA shopping center is seen as an oasis in a concrete maze.

KRAFT suspended ceilings in white and turquoise were used in the LAKE PLAZA shopping center. The white rails of the suspended ceiling were chosen as the base rails - it adds volume and optically enlarges the space. The accent rails in turquoise enliven and support the overall color scheme of the premise. In addition, using the color of the ceiling rails in the interior, individual zones were distinguished - the white rails were installed mainly in the central passageway with shopping galleries, and the turquoise rails were installed in the area of stairs and elevators.

To enhance the zoning effect, in the areas where the rails of different colors intersect, the designers used a two-tier ceiling construction with rails at different angles. This technique imitates a smooth transition between zones.

In addition to its decorative function, a raills suspended ceiling is also very practical. Modern shopping centers are densely equipped with all kinds of installations - from electrical cables to security and fire protection systems, which are usually located on the ceiling. KRAFT suspended linear rails ceilings hide ceiling communications and do not interfere with firefighting and ventilation systems.

This project uses 105 mm high rails with 156 mm spacing. Considering the height of the room, this is sufficient to hide communication in the space behind the ceiling. Choosing the right size and slope of the rails also avoids unnecessary material and installation costs.

Based on the example of the LAKE PLAZA shopping center, we are once again convinced that linear rails suspended ceilings offer many possibilities for implementing design ideas. Unconventional concepts and the combination of different colors, sizes and mutual arrangement of rails make it possible to achieve fantastic interior design effects in premises of any type and purpose.
